Introduction
WMS Sync Hub connects AutoCount with your WMS warehouse system (Qian Yi / Haiwaicang), keeping picking lists, purchase orders, and item master in sync automatically. No more typing the same document twice, no more guessing whether the warehouse has started picking.
What does WMS Sync Hub actually do (plain English)
Think of it as a four-lane bridge. Use the lanes one at a time, in order.
Lane 1 — Items (master data) — do this first
You add or edit an item in AutoCount
↓
WMS Sync Hub pushes the item to WMS
↓
WMS now knows about the item and can accept orders for it
WMS must know your items before it can accept POs or picking notes. So this lane must run first.
Lane 2 — Purchase Orders (incoming goods)
You create a Purchase Order in AutoCount
↓
WMS Sync Hub tells WMS "expect this incoming shipment" (ASN)
↓
Goods arrive at the warehouse, WMS receives them
↓
WMS Sync Hub auto-creates the GRN in AutoCount for you
Lane 3 — Picking lists (sales side)
You create a picking list in AutoCount
↓
WMS Sync Hub sends it to WMS
↓
WMS picks, packs, ships
↓
AutoCount sees "Shipped"
Lane 4 — Cancel Picking List / Picking Note
Customer cancels / wrong order / you don't want WMS to pick it
↓
Tick the rows in Cancel Picking Job menu
↓
WMS Sync Hub pushes the cancel to WMS
↓
WMS voids the order, the sales order is freed up to be re-arranged
Picking notes that are already Shipped cannot be cancelled — the goods are on the road. Use the standard return process.
PO / ASN can also be cancelled, but not from this menu — use Cancel Synced ASN in the PO → ASN Sync tab. Pre-condition: GRN not yet created (goods not received).
The six menus at a glance
The main WMS Sync Hub window has six menus on the left (default landing page = Item Code Sync):
| Menu | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Item Code Sync | Push AutoCount items to WMS (must do first) |
| PO → ASN Sync | Convert PO to ASN; auto-create GRN on receipt |
| Picking List Sync | Send picking notes to WMS for picking |
| Cancel Picking Job | Recall picking notes not yet Shipped |
| Sync Log | View every WMS-bound transaction (with full request/response) |
| About | Version info, check for updates, support contact |
