Getting Started

A quick tour of the WMS Sync window so you know what you're looking at the first time you open it.

Opening WMS Sync Hub

From the AutoCount main menu: Operation → WMS Sync Hub → WMS Sync.

After opening, the window defaults to the Item Code Sync page (because the entire sync flow starts from item master).

The window at a glance

You'll see three main areas:

  1. Green header (top). Shows the current page title (e.g. "WMS Sync Hub / Item Code Sync"), so you always know which menu you're on.

  2. Left navigation bar. Six menus:

    • Item Code Sync — push items to WMS (first step of the flow)
    • PO → ASN Sync — tell WMS to expect incoming goods
    • Picking List Sync — send picking notes to WMS
    • Cancel Picking Job — stop pickings you don't want
    • Sync Log — every transaction with WMS (full request/response captured)
    • About — version, check-for-updates
  3. Toolbar on each tab. Common buttons:

    • Start Sync / Stop Sync — master switch for that tab's worker
    • Sync Now — push the ticked rows immediately (with confirmation dialog)
    • Retry Failed — reset selected "errored" rows back to pending (with confirmation)
    • Filter — filter the table by date / keyword

A small status bar at the very bottom of the main window:

WMS Sync Hub v1.6.4 · API v1.6.4 · ✓ Connected

StatusColorMeaning
✓ ConnectedgreenEverything OK; API reachable
⚠ MismatchyellowPlugin version and API version differ. Ask Solution Provider to align them
API unreachableredBackend API service is down. Ask Solution Provider to restart it

Search + Enter key

Every grid has a Filter button + Search textbox above it.

  • Type any keyword (item code, picking note number, PO number, customer name…)
  • Press Enter = same as clicking Filter; applies the filter immediately

Check for Updates (auto-upgrade)

  1. Click About in the left navigation
  2. Click Check for Updates in the dialog
  3. If there's a newer version, follow the prompt to install; the API restarts automatically afterward

When to use WMS Sync Hub

  • Every morning: open the window, check that the footer is green ✓ Connected.
  • Before knock-off: go to Sync Log, filter today, look for red ✗ errors.
  • After major AutoCount changes (new items, bulk PO import, customer cancellations): go to the relevant menu and confirm the changes synced through.

If this is your first time

Solution Provider should already have done these:

  • Installed the WMS Sync Hub .app via AutoCount's Plug-in Manager
  • Installed the API as a Windows Service
  • Filled in the WMS partnerId / partnerKey / customerCode / warehouseCode
  • Configured the public webhook endpoint (Cloudflare Tunnel or similar)

You don't need to install anything yourself. If a menu is missing or the footer is red, that's a Solution Provider issue — pass it on.
